Gostaria de tê-lo conhecido antes, Henri,
quando havia tanto barulho que
não podia tocar a vida sem
aproximar-me demasiado da histeria.
Gostaria de tê-lo encontrado por acaso,
Pelo menos meio acordada,
enquanto capturavas o devir
e suas pessoas dançantes,
a vida desenrolando-se
diante dos teus olhos,
a vida permanente,
a vida fluida.
I wish I had met you before, Henri,
when life was too noisy and I
could not touch it without
getting too close to hysteria.
I wish I had accidentally run into you
on the street, at least half awake
while you framed the becoming
and its dancing little people,
life -
when life was too noisy and I
could not touch it without
getting too close to hysteria.
I wish I had accidentally run into you
on the street, at least half awake
while you framed the becoming
and its dancing little people,
life -
unfolding before your eyes,
permanent life,
fluid life.
fluid life.

There are many people I wish I had met at a different stage of my life.. but perhaps people find you, or you find them exactly when the time is right.

ReplyDeleteI know it's about more than the photo, of course. When the student is ready, the teacher will arrive.

ReplyDeleteClean lines, capturing the image and its time. A pleasure to read.
