se tiver calma.

Eu não tenho.
Quero que a vida aconteça logo,
apesar do medo de envelhecer.

Pulo linhas para chegar 
mais rápido ao fim de livros chatos.

Raramente escuto uma música inteira.
Gosto dos meus legumes 
levemente mal cozidos.

Visto roupas antes de estarem 
completamente secas.

Não consigo escrever haicais.
Não consigo pensar jogos de xadrez.
Não consigo ficar quieta.

Mas gosto de seguir pequenos insetos
a lugares onde não me encaixo e 
passar horas pensando em suas
vidas secretas.

I am not.
I want life to happen soon,
in spite of being scared of growing old.

I skip lines in books sometimes
to get to the end fast when I find them boring.

I rarely listen to an entire song.
I like my vegetables undercooked.
I put on clothes before they're completely dry.

I can't write haiku.
I can't think chess.
I can't sit still.

Still I like to follow tiny bugs going places
I don't fit in, and spend hours thinking about
their secret lives.
