O peso das coisas
imutáveis
inevitáveis
desgasta-me os ossos.
Quando nego-lhes a existência
ainda preciso de alívio
para a dor que infligem
ao meu corpo.
Fosse minha a escolha
teria sido concreto
mas foi o desejo de alguém
que fosse humano
- aceitei o desafio.
The weight of fixed
Unavoidable things
Wastes my bones
When I deny their existence
I still need drugs
To relieve the pain they inflict to my body
If I were to choose
I’d like to be made concrete
Was it someone else’s will
I was made human
- I take the challenge.
