Talvez a solidão

seja mesmo da natureza humana,

mas eu preciso

de outra sombra na parede

de mãos dadas com a minha,

eu preciso da ilusão da companhia,

eu não posso existir sozinha.

Loneliness may be

human nature,

but I really need

another shadow on the wall

holding hands with mine,

I need the illusion of company,

I cannot exist alone.

na ausência
como
gastam-se as horas
e os olhares.


Quem vive
está sempre a
um passo
do abismo
e quem não vive,
já chegou lá embaixo.


Shadows are slowly worn away
in the absence of somebody
as well as
hours
and looks.


Those who live
are always one step closer
to the edge of the abyss,
and those who don't,
they know the bottom of it already.
