para não ter tempo de

pensar nos espaços vazios.

Ou questionar as sombras nas paredes.

Ou terminar minhas frases.

I need life to be hectic
so I have no free time
to think about empty spaces.

Or question shadows on the walls.

Or finish sentences.

quando preferia flutuar

no espaço,

As pessoas vivem como cometas

e morrem como estrelas.

Às vezes me sinto tão velha

quanto o universo,

A estrada que não escolhi

também pode ser lida

nas minhas pegadas.

I walk
when I’d rather float in space,

People live like comets

and die like stars.

Sometimes I feel as old
as the universe,

The road I have not taken
also showing
on my footprints.

as coisas perdidas
adquiram o valor
inestimável
que as coisas regulares
não têm.

It's sad
that regular things
are so cheap
while
lost things
are priceless.

Eu sinto falta de
ser criança.
Crescemos e abandonamos
nossos pequenos universos,
criamos galáxias-fantasma.

A infância deveria ser
um planeta amigo
para onde todos nós
pudéssemos voar
quando ficássemos sem ar
no mundo adulto.


I miss being a child.
We grow up and abandon
our small universes,
we turn them into
'ghost galaxies'.

Childhood should be
a friendly planet
where we could always
fly to
whenever we
had breathing difficulties
in adult world.
