Sobrevive a
manhãs cinzentas
dias tristes
e sorrisos amarelos

o futuro,
meus queridos,
é vermelho carmesim.

Survive
gray mornings
blue days
half-hearted smiles

future,
my dear,
is crimson red.

  1. Read hope in the use of red at the end; a welcome contrast from gray morns and blue days. Clear, crisp lines that expresses much in few words. Cheers :)

  6. Great little poem--direct and with a strong heart of truth. Sometimes it takes a lot of red to beat back the grey.

  9. I saw the red as a statement of fierce passion to succeed... it's amazing how poignant that line is, as each reader can substitute it for their own interpretation. Such a wonderful poem, with infinite interpretations - really well written sweetie =)

Eu gosto de pensar as coisas como cores...
Mas o meu futuro é preto.
